Elevating Operational Efficiency at Basin Aviation

Founded in the 1970s, Basin Aviation has established itself as a stalwart provider of FBO, Part 135, and MRO services. As a small yet stable business, there is no immediate inclination for expansion. Currently utilizing X-1 FBO for FBO services and a proprietary accounting solution, Basin Aviation envisions an integrated future with EBIS, aiming to streamline billing processes and accounts reconciliation.

Situation and Challenges

Basin Aviation, in the process of moving away from another solution, sought a modern cloud-based maintenance software. Although not actively expanding, they recognized the need for a more efficient and organized approach to maintenance management. The challenges for Basin Aviation revolved around manual tracking using paper and spreadsheets, making it arduous to keep continuous track and manage multiple work orders, parts inventory, and purchase orders effectively. The introduction to EBIS came through a positive recommendation from X-1 FBO

Results and Impact of Moving to EBIS

The adoption of EBIS has marked a significant improvement for Basin Aviation. Transitioning from manual tracking to a streamlined, cloud-based system, they now benefit from organized work order management, simplified parts ordering, efficient inventory tracking, and seamless purchase order and invoicing processes. Everything is centralized within EBIS, eliminating the complexities associated with paper and spreadsheets. 

In the future, Basin plans to explore further integration, particularly with X-1 FBO and to enhance their overall accounting processes.
