Work and repair orders
Technicians can easily create work orders for repairs, order components, and hours worked. To improve productivity, accuracy and timeliness, these functions are enabled on both the desktop and mobile versions of EBIS.
Inventory
EBIS helps track inventory, create purchase orders, and invoice customers for parts. This enables just-in-time inventory which saves money. With the optional supply chain integration, teams can also see the status of parts from vendors.
Invoicing
EBIS has functionality to generate invoices to customers and for internal tracking. As part of system set-up, one can create default hourly billing rates, minimum hours, overtime rates, parts markup, outside labor hours, outside parts markup, shop supplies, and miscellaneous charges which can be updated as needed.
The supply chain integration helps technicians order parts with visibility into actual stocking levels, view photos of parts when available, and research parts if the part is unknown. EBIS provides a dashboard to see the status of the ordered part, enabling the technician to better plan their work and be more productive.
Reports help you track your supply chain vendors’ performance to ensure that parts are delivered on a timely basis. EBIS integrates with two partners, Sage and NAPA. When looking at assets, EBIS has access to their parts catalog by equipment type. EBIS also has their cataloging capabilities from 17 years of GSE platform data including 3000 users, 125k assets and 600 airports across the world.
EBIS has numerous configurable reports designed to manage your operation. From Compliance to Physical Inventory to Out-of-Service to Workshop Detail, these reports are scheduled to be sent to any email address based on commonly required dates. This ensures that you and your GSE business partners have the right data at the right time to optimize and manage your operation.
The Advanced Data Analyzer (ADA) allows you to view data in a variety of ways. Simply choose how and what you want to view, and ADA will do the rest. ADA is designed to be interactive with data sources. Once the output is on-screen, users can click on parts of a chart, and drill down into underlying details for finer analyses.
EBIS has an integration through our open API with your selected telemetry platform. EBIS consumes over 1,000 data points that can be collected including key-on, in-gear, run hours, location, throttle %, DC voltage, Battery Management System (BMS) reading for electric vehicles, GPS location, and many others.
Fuel and other levels such as glycol can be configured per asset to track actual levels. Telemetry sensors are configurable to track sudden stops (impact) and related to this, the interactive map in EBIS can be reviewed to show where and when the impact occurred as well as tracking of the driver. Out-of-service is a specific setting with telemetry that is consumed and displayed in EBIS.
A native iOS and Android version of EBIS allows your team to create and update work orders in real-time, enabling a mobile work force. By adding bar-codes to assets, technicians can easily scan and start work. The equipment inventory can be accessed, and photos can be added as part of their workflow.
