This panel features Mehdi Jnah, Director of Ground Support Equipment at Alaska Air Group, and Ken Brown, President of Power Stow Americas, who bring operator and OEM perspectives on how AI, data integration, and connected ecosystems are reshaping fleet maintenance — and redefining the role of tomorrow’s technician.
Mehdi Jnah is a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) leader with more than 18 years of experience across the military, logistics, and aviation sectors. He began his career in the U.S. Air Force, where he managed fleet operations and helped pioneer some of the military’s earliest hybrid vehicle programs, while also serving part-time as a linguist supporting intelligence teams.
Following his service, he earned a degree in Transportation and Logistics with a minor in Supply Chain Management, graduating Magna Cum Laude from American Military University. He later completed Six Sigma certification at Villanova University. Today, he leads GSE strategy at Alaska Air Group, with responsibilities that extend to Hawaiian Airlines. Guided by the philosophy of People, Process, Parts, he drives innovation through AI-enabled safety, electrification, and workforce development.
Ken Brown is the President of Power Stow Americas and has over 35 years in the Airline and Ground Service Equipment experience. Before joining the Power Stow Americas team, he worked for many years at United Airlines holding multiple leadership positions including serving as the President of United Airlines wholly owned ground handling subsidiary United Ground Express. He also has experience in Customer Service, Ramp Service, Cargo, Ground Equipment, Aircraft Move Teams, Labor and Employee Relations and more.
Ken is also a United States Marine Corps Veteran.
